The Obvious Life Soundtrack.

After that Soundtrack meme, I was thinking of what would be the perfect song for each category and how freaky it would be if those songs turned up in the right place.

Here’s an example of a Soundtrack where the songs really DO fit the category exactly! (and yeah, there’s like heaps that would fit into each category, but I’m going to pick my favourite and the one in my iTunes library if it exists!)

——————————–

Opening Credits: Open – The Cure

Waking Up: Wake Up – Rage Against The Machine (this actually used to be my phone alarm to wake me up!)

First Day at School: The First Day of School – J-Zone (I DON’T have this one!)

Falling in Love: Fallin’ In Love – Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds

Fight Song: The Fight Song – Marilyn Manson (Don’t have this one either…)

Breaking Up: Breaking Up – Eskimo Joe

Prom: Prom – Mindless Self Indulgence (Never heard of this band, but hey, the song fits! Lyrics are…um…interesting)

Life: The Life – Alicia Keys

Making Babies: Make Love – Daft Punk (Closest I could find!)

Mental Breakdown: Nervous Breakdown – Black Flag (Close enough ;))

Driving: Drive – R.E.M. (I LOVE this song so it gets in)

Flashback: Flashback – Ministry (Don’t have this one either…)

Getting Back Together: Let’s Get Back – No Doubt (Don’t have this, but it works!)

Wedding: White Wedding – Billy Idol (This one was a no brainer!)

Birth of Child: Birthday Song – Ben Lee

Final Battle: Battle of Who Could Care Less – Ben Folds Five (There are probably more suitable ones, but I love this song :))

Death Scene: Dead – They Might be Giants (Yay. I love these guys!)

Funeral Song: Funeral Song – Brad (Well. It’s obvious isn’t it?)

End Credits: The End – The Doors or End – The Cure (I like the idea of starting an finishing with the Cure…)

——————————–

So there we go, that was a nice way to spend some time to stop me from being impatient waiting for other things! (boredboredboredboredboredboredboredboredbored)

About Mick

I've been around a while. I like to wrap myself around the warm security of the interwebs which have consumed me since 1993. I whinge, I rant, I crap on. Enjoy. View all posts by Mick
