Wow, Best Single is one hell of a lineup isn't it? Anyone's guess on that one I reckon, they're all pretty deserving.

Awful lot of overlap amongst the categories too hey, AC/DC, Empire of the Sun and Eskimo Joe featuring heavily. I concur re the Hilltops on Best Album, odd they're not included. I do really like Empire of the Sun but realistically I think they should be more of a Best Single shot than best album, I did enjoy the album but when I listen to their stuff it's usually only 3 songs I look for, I don't go seeking out the whole thing. Inshalla was a bit hmm wasn't it *waggles hand from side to side*, I listened to Black Fingernail Red Wine so many times I'm suprised the CD still works. Inshalla had a good few runs but nothing like the last. I'm still a HUGE fan tho, love the Joe, and they are well worth seeing live if you've not already (not at a festival, see their own live show, is great!). Bob Evans was actually supporting them when they came to newy, he let me take a pic with him too, really nice guy! Haven't listed to all of Bull Creek yet but have it here ready and waiting (ooh and signed too! lol I think I musta been a groupie in a past life LOL).
Now Art vs Science - I've never really heard of them much until recently (haven't been listening to ANY radio for ages now so missing out on lots of new music). I'm about to go to Fat As Butter tho and they're playing there. Trouble is that they're on at the same time as the Hilltops!! :( Given that Hilltops are playing Homebake too tho so I can see them again there who would you go see?

Try being a doggies fan - not only do you get bad calls from the ref's, you get bad calls from the nrl, the media, the fans...... even your own players! (im lookin at you money-bill)

It would've been good if the eels won (only coz my partner is a storm fan) but hey, thats what happens when your game plan isn't 'hit the opposition's best players in the head' like it was last week!

Speaking of last week - that was the REAL grand final - and a far better game all round.

As you've probably noticed, I am loving my 101 list! I think there are a few tricks to creating lists that work with you, rather than against you...

My tips:

- Focus on stuff that you really WANT to do. Your list should get you excited.

- Don't include anything that you "should do", unless you will feel immense satisfaction for having gotten it out of the way. (Keep these to a minimum!)

- Include a bunch of really easy stuff. There are times when your big goals will feel overwhelming, and I find that crossing off smaller goals helps me to feel as though I'm still moving. (ie: Take a friend to the movies, go to the beach, drive to a new town.)

- Be really specific about your goal. Instead of "clean out the garage", you might be able to break it down into a few items (eg: 1. Donate furniture/toys in garage to the Salvos; 2. Throw out rubbish from garage; 3. Re-pack items in storage; 4. Sweep out the garage)

Good luck writing a list, and give yourself plenty of time to do it! Mine had several revisions before I was happy with it.

Hope you find this as rewarding as I have!

I made a list like this when I turned 30. It's on my blog.
Some things I have done! Others have been sidelined by life changes (like pregnancy, new jobs and new homes). Every time I revisit it, I find things I can cross off, and things I've forgotten about. Strangest are the things that I can't remember why I added...

It does take a while to make a list. I had to come back to it several times.

Hmmmmm, that's pretty cool! I am a huge fan of lists and goal setting, just suits my nature and I find the 3 year time frame particularly appealing! :)

I've done the Novotel thing once before and I cannot tell you how good it was to only have to stumble like 500m (if that) before I could hit a nice hot shower and a soft clean bed hehehe!
Good luck with making your list! I looked at a lot of other lists and stole ideas once I had hit a plateau :)

There's also a good post at http://dayzero.ning.com with tips on how to make a better list!

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :)
